- Take up couch position
- Take a food snooze
Ingredients
Serves 4-5 – SLOW COOKER RECIPE
- 500g Beef (chuck or gravy steak)
- 2 carrots
- 2 celery stems
- 2 potatoes
- 1 sweet potato
- 1 onion
- 4 cloves garlic crushed
- 5 diced mushrooms
- 2 beef stock cubes
- 1 glass red wine 😉 and 1 for you
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- splash of worcestershire sauce
- 1-tsp paprika
- 1-tbs dried Italian herb mix
- Salt and pepper
- 1 cup of competition BBQ Glaze
- enough water to just cover all the ingredients
Directions
- Add chopped beef to cooker
- Add all the remaining ingredients
- Cook on high for 8 hours
- Once cooked and cooled, refrigerate and remove fat layer
- Add 1/2 cup peas and 4 bean mix while cold (optional)
- Heat to serve.
Ideal with creamy mashed potato, yummy!
