  1. Peel and cut the onion into thin round slices
  2. Drizzle the oil over the slices and lightly sprinkle your Taipan rub/seasoning over them and then separate the rings
  3. Place onion rings into your air fryer basket
  4. Cook at 150c for 10 minutes (move the rings around at 5min intervals)
  5. Lower the temp to 115c and continue heating the onion rings (move the rings around at 5min intervals)
  6. It usually takes around 15-20mins at 115c to get the colour and texture that you personally prefer
