Ingredients

  • 500g of your preferred lamb cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • Cup of Oaxaca BBQ sauce (Mild) or Habanero BBQ sauce (Hot)  for at least 2 hours (overnight is even better!).
  • 2 Red bell peppers – cut into bit size pieces
  • 2 red onions – cut into bite size pieces
  • Wooden skewers – soaked in water before using

Best Cuts of Lamb for BBQ Kebabs:

  1. Lamb Leg (Boneless)
    • Lean, tender, and easy to cut into uniform cubes.
    • Has great flavour and grills beautifully.
  2. Lamb Shoulder
    • Slightly fattier than leg, which means extra juiciness and flavour.
    • Needs a little more trimming, but worth it for the tenderness.
  3. Lamb Loin
    • Very tender and lean.
    • More expensive, but perfect for special occasions.

Directions

  1. Thread lamb onto skewers with red onion and bell pepper.
  2. Grill until caramelized and juicy, about 8–10 minutes.
  3. Serve with extra BBQ sauce and fresh herbs

Tip: keep all the pieces around the same size so as not to undercook or overcook any ingredients.
