No experience necessary with this brisket recipe, let your slow cooker do the work for you.

Ingredients

Serves 4 with leftovers or maybe not:)  – COOK IN SLOW COOKER

 

  • 1.5-2.5 kg beef brisket, ask your local butcher
  • 3-4 tbs Aussie All Rounder BBQ Rub
  • 4 burger buns
  • Coleslaw or lettuce, tomato and pickles or for burgers
  • Use Smoky or competition BBQ glaze for your sauce

Directions

  1. Rub your brisket all over generously with rub
  2. Place in slow cooker and set to high
  3. Leave to cook for 8 hours and rest for 1/2 hours
  4. Shred enough beef to make up your tender meat loving burgers

Cook for 8 hours – this will give you shredded beef for tacos, burritos, sandwiches or burgers

Cook for 6 hours – Great for slices for a delicious roast dinner
